At UB Teen Center, we are committed to empowering youth and families through comprehensive, supportive, and educational programs that address the diverse needs of our community. Below are just a few of the key programs we currently offer, with more to be added as we continue to grow and expand our services.

Our Sexuality Health Education program is designed to equip teens with accurate, age-appropriate knowledge about their bodies, relationships, and health. Understanding that informed teens are better prepared to make responsible informed decisions, our curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including Consent, Gender Identity, Human Trafficking, Pregnancy Prevention, Puberty, Relationship Skills, Reproductive Health and Anatomy, and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).

We emphasize the importance of creating a safe, inclusive environment where students can ask questions and engage in open discussions. Our goal is to foster self-respect and respect for others while providing the tools needed for healthy relationships and informed choices. All sexuality health education classes are held at different schools within LAUSD. Free for the entire community! 

Parenting can be challenging, especially when navigating the complexities of adolescence. Our Harmonious Parenting Classes are designed to support parents in building stronger, more understanding relationships with their teens. These classes offer practical strategies and communication tools that empower parents to approach sensitive topics like sexuality, mental health, and stress management with confidence and compassion.

Through our classes, parents will learn effective techniques for fostering a nurturing home environment that promotes trust, open dialogue, and mutual respect. Our curriculum is rooted in the belief that harmonious parenting leads to healthier, more resilient families, and ultimately, a stronger community.

Academic success is a cornerstone of personal development, and at UB Teen Center, we provide students with the support they need to excel. Our Tutoring Services offer personalized assistance in a variety of subjects, ensuring that each student receives the attention and resources necessary to thrive in their studies. In addition to helping with homework and exam preparation, we also guide students through the college application process and provide support with FAFSA submissions.

Whether a student needs help mastering difficult concepts or navigating the complexities of college admissions, our experienced tutors are here to guide them every step of the way. We focus on building confidence and improving academic skills, laying a solid foundation for future educational and career success.
